Ms. Fontanez - Resource/Inclusion
Hi, there!
My name is Ashley Fontanez, but my students and their families call me Ms. Fontanez. I am one of the teachers on our Resource/Inclusion Team. I truly enjoy helping students in different classes/grade-levels continue to grow as learners.
I am a proud Buccaneer (Class of '09) and extremely honored to now teach in Belleville alongside some of my favorite teachers turned colleagues. After graduating from Belleville High, I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education (NJCU, '15) with dual certifications in Special Education and Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (MSU, '20) and three administrative certifications.
The 2022-23 school year will be my eighth year at School Seven. During this time, I have served as a paraprofessional, taught Kindergarten, Self-contained (LLD 3-6), Resource/Inclusion, and been an active member of our school community serving on various committees. I had the privilege of being our school's 2019-20 Governor's Educator of the Year.
I believe every child can learn and it is my responsibility as their teacher to teach them in the way they learn best! My students and I will work hard, share laughs, have fun, and grow along the way.
Please, feel free to reach me via ClassDojo Message or email: [email protected].
